![]() Much like the "sweet 15" traditional quinceaƱera party Destiny "Dusty" is trying to negotiate, this book is full of some Spanish cultural history, surprises and fun. As someone who likes to think of himself as a sophisticated adult reader, YA fiction, like Sweet 15, can be a quick snack gobbled up in one or two settings, yet provide enough depth to nourish a reader's appetite. As a teacher, I've always enjoyed YA fiction (being YA age X 4 myself ). ![]() When a friend recommended Sweet 15 by Emily Adler and Alex Echevarria, I at first I thought the plot would not hold me, but it was so cleverly crafted that I found myself really interested. ![]()
